The Star Trek Diskzine

Issue five of the popular Warp disk magazine written by Keith Dunn is here!. Although it was originally inteded for release in April, it still contains all of the latest information relating to developments in the Star Trek universe.

Among the highlights, are a synopsis of the forthcoming film First Contact, loads of stuff from the Internet, and a selection of Star Trek stories.

It is wrapped in a well presented intuitive interface with a sprinkling of sound samples. The graphics are well drawn with different planets representing the various articles in the 'zine.

The content is good, although a lot of it is grabbed directly from the internet and therefore, unlike the Nova diskzine, is not confirmed as being accurate. Also included is a small selection of clipart depicting various starships.

All in all a very good read, the information is relatively up to date and, ignoring the possibility of inaccuracies, is interesting.

Reccomended to all Star Trek fans!
