ATARI SHOWS
We were very pleased with the response from both Birmingham and London shows, finding that products like 14MB memory uprades, Nemesis and Videlity were in great demand (even though we ran out of Nemesis during the Birmingham show!).
The introduction of the Power Pack - APEX Intro, Nemesis & Videlity - was also very well received and, although intended as a show offer only, we will continue to offer this bundled package for the foreseeable future.
A lot of interest was expressed at the sheer power that was available to the forthcoming APEX Alpha software, currently in development by Black Scorpion.
Although attendance at the Glasgow show was disappointing, sales were reasonably encouraging.
PRICES
All prices quoted in this press release are in UK pounds sterling and are denoted by the 'hash' (#) sign. Prices include VAT @ 17.5%, which applies to the UK and any other EC countries. When ordering from outside the EC please deduct 17.5%, i.e. #49.95 becomes #42.51, #79.95 becomes #68.04, etc., from all the prices.

The Thought! Ideas Processor has also been reduced by #30 to #49.95. A unique program that is only available on the Atari platform, Thought! is the ultimate design and development software with a myriad of uses for virtually anything you wish to use the Atari for.

FALCON 14MB MEMORY UPGRADE
The yo-yo pricing of memory is currently on a downward trend and we can now offer the full 14MB memory upgrade for the Falcon at our lowest price ever of #119.95.
This includes the superb 16MB Panasonic EDO TAB SIMM which has proved to be the most reliable and trouble-free memory that we've ever tested. TAB SIMMs include a metal shielding which seem to reduce video noise to an absolute minimum, particularly when using hardware acceleration (such as Nemesis) in 256-colour or true-colour modes.
We are currently looking for second hand Falcons that can be refurbished for the purpose of putting them back into the mainstream market, thereby keeping the Falcon market alive.
So if you have a spare Falcon, or even a non-working model, we will pay a good price; with or without memory, hard disk, power supply and/or floppy, etc.
Our intention is not to make a huge profit from this venture, but to introduce more machines into general use. Overall this will benefit everybody.
We will notify everyone once we have machines for sale. They will be fully tested and working, and can be upgraded to include any hardware modification, such as Nemesis, Afterburner, C-Lab case, etc.
BSS DEBUG v2.0
BSS Debug has undergone a revamp and now supports 68030 & 68040 machines and FPU support is now included.
Any BSS Debug users can upgrade for only #5.00 (UK only), and all we require is the return of the original disk.
2.5" to 3.5" HDD ADAPTORS
In stock now - an adaptor that plugs into the Falcon to allow 3.5" drives to be connected!
While these are best suited for recased machines, it is possible to fit a 3.5" device into a standard Falcon case, although some cutting of the top metal shielding will be required.
Instructions are supplied (even though fitting of the adaptor is extremely simple) and the price is #12.95 each, plus #1.00 carriage within the UK.

INTERNAL SCSI ADAPTORS
We now have in stock the C-Lab internal SCSI adaptors that are suitable for fitting both 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives into a Falcon. Price: #49.95, plus #1.00 for carriage within the UK.
These are not supplied with any hard disk cradle, but mounting drives to the underside of the metal shielding is possible - we haven't tried this so we're not guaranteeing that it will work, although see no reason why it shouldn't!
Note: If no external SCSI drives are fitted, then it will be necessary to plug an external terminator to the Falcon SCSI (50-way mini-D) port. We can supply these for #12.95 if required.
