AAA is a new organisation which is intended to assist Atari programmers in releasing their software into the market in any form ie. PD, Shareware, Licenceware, Commercial etc.

One part of the Association is the AAA Evaluation scheme. This requires registration with us and a small annual fee of œ10. This is more than made up for by the increased interest in the software. Software is sent to three individual evaluators who rate the program out of 50, test for bugs and offer constructive criticism.

Software which passes certain grade boundaries would recieve various rewards which would effectively promote the product.

Other things offered by AAA are support for new authors, a way of putting different people in contact ie. artists, programmers and musicians, and possible discounts on some software.

The overall aim of AAA is to increase the quality of software available to users. We will offer a quarterly newsletter (free to registered members) which contains details of software evaluated since the start of the scheme.
