Preview of Reeking Rubber, for the Falcon. This is version 0.9. The game runs in 320x240 on VGA and RGB/TV. It runs a bit faster on RGB/TV. Please have as clean a system as possible. When using Magic we have found that the game won't run if BubbleGEM and/or OLGA is active. Don't ask why. Just disable those programs. Additionally there seems to be some stability problems when run under Magic. On 4MB falcons you should have as much free memory as possible. Controls: Joypad A: Left, right, A to accelerate, B to brake, up/down select gear Joystick 1: Left, right, fire to accelerate down without fire pressed to brake up/down+fire select gear Keyboard: Default keys: left arrow right arrow up arrow = gear up down arrow = gear down A = accelerate X = brake You may define your own keys in the options menu. Bugs and fixes: The cars are sometimes flickering when you pass them and collision detection with the cars is not perfect. No more crap pixels in the intro under Magic. The game may crash when trying to start a race under Magic. Please excuse: * The garbled screens before you start a race and after it. Request for testresults: If you happen to have some sort of accelerator installed in your Falcon, please tell us about the behaviour of the program. Tell us the fps and possible bugs.
