Denna Urtrista Module Player (DUMP) v1.71 May 9, 2005 Anders Eriksson ae@dhs.nu http://dhs.nu/ What it is: DUMP is a simple player for 4/6/8 channel .mod files generated by various programs and musicans. Needs: DUMP needs a Falcon running some sort of TOS compatible operatingsystem. Reason: There were no .mod player that could play 4/6/8 channel files without crashing on a Centurbo 2. And, to my knownledge there is no other DSP-based player that works in MiNT virtual terminals. Update 2003: The previous DUMP have been known to crash the CT60. It was due to the DSPMOD crashing when being loaded and run from the CT60s (very) fastram. Resources: DUMP is easy on system resources. It only need the space for the .mod file you load plus approx 50k more. 8000 bytes of this is reserved into ST-RAM (DMA-playbuffer). Options: -q (-Q) will force the player to quiet mode, eg. no screen- output. -s (-S) surround sound enable -i (-I) interpolation enable -n (-N) no samplename printing sample commandline: dump -s -i /foo/bar.mod Toggles: While playing a module, it is possible to change the interpolation and surround status. - `i` (or `I`) toggles the interpolation - `s` (or `S`) toggles the surround sound Disclaimer: You're using DUMP at your own risk. The authours cannot be held responsible for any damage it might do. Copying: DUMP is freeware, copy as much as you want. The source is distributed with it. If you add a function, please e-mail the upgraded version back. Sourcecode: Is quite well documented. It's in assembler and is working right off with gen or The code is not perfectly optimized or have an ideal structure.
