NOTICE !!!! This version of ECHOS is still not 100%. There are SEVERE BUGS left in the code. While we DO NOT THINK it will cause any damages, we can't guarentee it. RUN AT YOUR OWN RISK! Meanwhile, beware that the effects were coded for CT2 or similar spec accelerator, which means that the fx runs slow on 16MHz to begin with. Then with ACE music, things get ugly. It would seem this early ACE replayer is using approx 50% CPU on a 16MHz Falcon.. Thomas says a faster player is planned :-) UPDATE: ACE replay now has two modes, one for accelerated falcons and one for standard configuration. You might have to try both to see which one is better. This fix solves the d-cache problem so framerate should be a lot higher than version 1.0. A couple of annoying bugs are fixed and the end song should now play properly. We're thinking of doing a large version with music as MP2 to speed things up (but it will grow extremly large). If you think this is a good idea, send us a mail!
