STOOP - Improvements
                             
Stoop v1.01 - Released 4th September 1994.

ð  Stoop v1.00 bugs fixed, see BUGS.TXT.

ð  An  alert  is  generated  if  you  try  to  leave  Stoop  without  saving  a
   configuration you have just changed. You are given the option of saving it
   or continuing.
   
ð  The scroll buttons which appear on boards that contain too many filenames to
   display at once have been changed to show up and down pointing arrows. 
   
ð  When Stoop is run from the desktop it can be placed on any drive, it will
   automatically locate the boot drive. HOWEVER, a copy of Stoop must be in the
   Auto folder if it is to be run on booting-up. 
                              

Stoop v1.02 - Released 16th October 1994.

ð  Stoop can now be bypassed, simply press a keyboard modifier key (CONTROL,
   ALTERNATE or SHIFT). This is needed if Stoop hangs up on starting-up,
   which can happen if either STOOP.CFG or the current NEWDESK.INF are
   corrupted. If this happens to you, simply replace these files (Stoop
   automatically backs up the previous STOOP.CFG to STOOP.BAK).
   
   BEWARE : Holding ALTERNATE down for the first few seconds of booting, will
   cause your Falcon to boot up in ST low resolution and your harddrive cannot
   be accessed until your harddisk driver program has been run.
   
   BEWARE : If you use HDDRIVER (from System Solutions), holding down the
   CONTROL key during the first few seconds of booting will cause HDDRIVER to
   stop and give you the option of installing HDDRIVER. 

   I recommend using either SHIFT for by-passing Stoop, but this may be used
   by other Auto folder programs (hence the choice of keys). If SHIFT does
   cause problems, wait until the harddisk driver you use displays its usual
   messages before pressing any of the three keys.
   
   This last modification also means that you can now run the last
   configuration without having to wait for Stoop to set itself up when all
   that you want to do is click on EXIT.

   To show the set up for a button, press the right mouse button once while
   the mouse cursor is on the button. (The 'SHOW' button has been replaced
   with the 'CONFIG' button, see below.)
   
   
ð  Stoop can now display a maximum of 128 files per board.
   
   
ð  The SHOW button has been removed, to show the files assigned to a button
   click the right mouse button on the screen button. The SHOW button now
   reads CONFIG, this has not been implemented as yet, but it will lead to
   a dialog allowing some configuration of the system (colours..., let me
   know what you would like).


Stoop v1.03 - Released 27th October 1994

ð  Stoop can now pass parameters to programs which are auto-booted.

ð  Stoop can now set environment strings for auto-booting programs.
