SAMPLE FORMATS IN JINGLE PROGRAM

Setup window for sample formats

Select the formats you are using
then save the settings.

OBS Only unpacked 16 bit samplings
whith 2 tracks kan be used.


All sample files used in the jingle program
is checked by its header
so it can have any name.
And it supports long filenames
like them from minix file systems.


The currently supported sample formats is:

DVSM format
Filname: *.DVS
Created in the program WinREC

AIFF format
AIFC format

Filname: *.AIF
Created in CubaseAUDIO or on Aples MAC
OBS not all variants
of AIFF and AIFC is supported.


AVR format
Filname: *.AVR

WAVE format
Filname: *.WAV
Created on IBM PC compatible computers.


A small info abaut the formats:
AVR-files are audiofiles recorded by most PD recorders on Atari.

AIFF-files are audiofiles. The AIFF standard is frequently used by
Apple Macintosh recorders. Also Atari recorders like Cubase Audio
or Logic Audio use AIFF files.

WAVE-files are audiofiles. Microsoft RIFF-WAVE
This format was designed by Microsoft for use with Windows on the
PC. It stores all sample information except for the mark
positions.File extension is .WAV.
The WAVE standard is frequently used on IBM-Compatible PC-Computers.

DVSM-files are audiofiles. The DVSM standard is used by the
Atari recorder Win-rec.

Raw audio data is pure audiodata without any information like start,
end-points or sample names.
This type of sample is NOT supported by JingleFALCON.
